Colombia grows more species of flowers than any other country in the world – it is the world’s top producer of carnations and is home to 3,500 orchid species, the largest variety in the world.

THE COLOMBIAN GOVERNMENT TRADE BUREAU

The Trade Bureau provides support to the Ambassador of Colombia to the United States and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism of Colombia in managing the trade and investment relationship with the U.S. government and its constituents.

Specifically, the Trade Bureau supports the negotiation, approval and implementation of trade agreements and preference programs with the United States, helps manage bilateral trade and investment issues, and seeks to ensure continued and enhanced access of Colombian exports into the U.S. market.
